Masaru Jiro Yoshida

37 years teaching home economics in Kyoto

  • 🇯🇵 Kyoto, Kyoto, Japan
  • 1982 to 1995
  • English
For 13 years I was the home economics teacher at Kyoto Public School. I taught Year 9 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. I ran the choir after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I'm always reading two books at once. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Masaru: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
