Maryam Wafa Slimani

Painter, potter and teacher at Stonebridge Gallery

  • 🇪🇬 Shubra, Cairo, Egypt
  • Stonebridge Gallery
  • 1978 to 1992
  • English
I got into sculpture as a hobby and somewhere along the way it became the thing I do every day. I also teach a weekly class at Stonebridge Gallery, which keeps me honest.

More about Maryam

I've had 8 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.

What gifts mean to Maryam: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
