Maryam Sawsan Naguib
Youth cross country coach and mentor
- 🇸🇦 Medina, Madinah, Saudi Arabia
- Medina Youth Club
- 2001 to 2018
- English, Arabic
For 17 years I ran the cross country program at Medina Youth Club in Medina. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never once raised my voice.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
