I teach geography at Cairo Girls' School in Cairo since 1999. Most days I teach primary school children, and I never raise my voice.
I've run the debate team after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I'm learning the guitar.
More about Maryam
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Maryam: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
