Mary Namukasa Ngowi

Musician with Jinja Band

  • 🇺🇬 Jinja, Eastern Region, Uganda
  • Jinja Band
  • 2002 to 2018
  • English
I play violin and singing. I started in 2002 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness. I teach about 13 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I make terrible puns.

What gifts mean to Mary: I'd put a gift toward recording a small album.
