Mary Halima Karanja
Volunteer mentor with Sakura Mentoring Circle
- 🇺🇬 Mbarara, Western Region, Uganda
- Sakura Mentoring Circle
- Since 2017
- English, Swahili
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 390 people through Sakura Mentoring Circle.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
What gifts mean to Mary: A gift would go toward free mentoring sessions for people who can't pay.
