I taught art at Hope Public School in Heliopolis from 2004 to 2017. Most days I taught Grade 6, and I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I ran the chess club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I'm learning the guitar.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Marwan
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
