Marta Roman Yilma
Painter, potter and teacher at Valley View Art Collective
- 🇪🇹 Bahir Dar, Amhara, Ethiopia
- Valley View Art Collective
- Since 1995
- English, Amharic
I work mostly in oil painting, sometimes woodcarving. My first show was in 1995 at Valley View Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I take the work seriously, though not myself. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
More about Marta
If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
