Marta P. Velasco

Mathematics teacher at Summit Academy, 1979 to 2016

  • 🇨🇴 Bogotá, Bogotá D.C., Colombia
  • Summit Academy
  • 1979 to 2016
  • Spanish
For 37 years I was the mathematics teacher at Summit Academy. I taught mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. I coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.

What gifts mean to Marta: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
