Marta K. Lara

Youth baseball coach and mentor

  • 🇲🇽 Iztapalapa, Ciudad de México, Mexico
  • Iztapalapa Boxing Gym
  • 1985 to 2016
  • Spanish
I'm a baseball coach. I never went pro, but I got to see 1,460 kids fall in love with the game. Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I sing in a choir. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

More about Marta

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
