I've been a nurse for 24 years, most of them in community health at Alcalá de Henares General Hospital in Alcalá de Henares. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
