Marlene W. Petersen
Economics and agriculture teacher, George
- 🇿🇦 George, Western Cape, South Africa
- George Academy
- Since 2006
- English, Zulu
I came to teaching late, after working as a shop assistant, and 20 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Marlene
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Marlene: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

I was in your Grade 8 class in 2007. You believed I could do it before I did. Greetings from Faisalabad.
