Choir director and singer
- 🇿🇦 Soweto, Gauteng, South Africa

- Since 2003
- English, Afrikaans
I play bass and classical. I started in 2003 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 17 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I run most mornings.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
What gifts mean to Marlene: Any gift will help me keep teaching kids who can't afford lessons.
