For 15 years I ran the basketball program at Pietermaritzburg Liberty Football Club in Pietermaritzburg. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
More about Marlene
If you played for me, you probably remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.

What gifts mean to Marlene: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

You coached me in 2023. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Pittsburgh.
