I taught French at Stonebridge Grammar School in East London from 2007 to 2016. Most days I taught Year 7, and my door was open at lunch.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
More about Marlene
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Marlene: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

I was in your Year 7 class in 2016. You believed I could do it before I did. Greetings from Auckland.
