Marlene F. Nel

Watercolor artist in Soweto

  • 🇿🇦 Soweto, Gauteng, South Africa
  • Old Soweto Gallery
  • 2014 to 2023
  • English, Zulu
I work mostly in watercolor, sometimes oil painting. My first show was in 2014 at Old Soweto Gallery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog. I also teach a weekly class at Old Soweto Gallery, which keeps me honest.

More about Marlene

If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
