Mark B. Torres
Master of weaving, now teaching apprentices
- 🇵🇭 Iloilo City, Iloilo, Philippines
- Little Redwood Trades Guild
- Since 1986
- English, Filipino, Spanish
I've worked in weaving since 1986. I learned from my father and passed what I could on to 1,560 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 17 years later for another job.
What gifts mean to Mark: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
