Marites L. Castro

Singing player and teacher in Manila

🇵🇭 Manila, Metro Manila, Philippines
Manila Orchestra
Since 1999
English

I play singing and jazz. I started in 1999 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness. I teach about 10 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I run most mornings.

More about Marites

I write my first song when I was 21. It was terrible and I still love it.

What gifts mean to Marites: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
