For 23 years I was the geography teacher at Newcastle Academy. I taught the youngest children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Marites
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
