Marites G. Villanueva
Oil painting artist in Manila
- 🇵🇭 Manila, Metro Manila, Philippines
- Silverlake Gallery
- 2008 to 2021
- English, Filipino
I work mostly in oil painting, sometimes embroidery. My first show was in 2008 at Silverlake Gallery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by old photographs. I make terrible puns.

If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
