Runs the refugee support in Oakland
- 🇺🇸 Oakland, California, United States
- Andes Volunteer Corps
- 2003 to 2014
- English, Filipino
I've volunteered with Andes Volunteer Corps from 2003 to 2014. I started on a Saturday morning "just to help out" and never left.
Our crew is about 12 people now. Everyone brings something.
More about Marites
If you've ever been helped by one of our sessions, you're the reason we keep going.
What gifts mean to Marites: I'd put a gift toward transport for our volunteers.
