I'm a oil painting artist based in Oakland. I've been making things since 2011 and I still get excited when a new batch of materials arrives.
Most of my work is inspired by the people on my bus route. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Marisol: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
