Marisol R. Vargas
Self-taught glass art artist
- 🇦🇷 Mar del Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina
- Acacia Print Workshop
- 1999 to 2023
- Spanish
I work mostly in glass art, sometimes ceramics. My first show was in 1999 at Acacia Print Workshop, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by folk tales I grew up with. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
More about Marisol
I've had 9 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
What gifts mean to Marisol: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
