Mario Sergio Vitale

Special education teacher at Fairview Girls' School, Since 1991

For 35 years I have been the special education teacher at Fairview Girls' School. I teach Year 9 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

More about Mario

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mario: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
