Marilyn M. Hatfield
Mentor in first-generation students and recovery
- 🇺🇸 San Francisco, California, United States
- San Francisco Youth Network
- 1978 to 2014
- English, Spanish
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 1,980 people through San Francisco Youth Network.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
