I coached tennis at Boulogne-Billancourt Youth Club from 2000 to 2022. Most of my players were between 11 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
What gifts mean to Marième: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.

A small gift is a big thank-you.
