I teach music and physical education at Hope Middle School, Amsterdam. I never turn anyone away.
Over the years I've had 350 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Marieke
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
