I've coached chess at Metz Ashford Football Club since 1978. Most of my players were between 9 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
What gifts mean to Marie: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

You coached me in 1984. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Cairo.
