I teach design and technology at Scranton Secondary School in Scranton since 2013. Most days I teach teenagers, and I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
I've coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Maricel
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

You taught me design and technology in 2023 at Scranton Secondary School. I still remember the time the class pet escaped.
