Maricel C. Dizon
Oud player and teacher in Pasig
- 🇵🇭 Pasig, Metro Manila, Philippines
- Pasig Ensemble
- 2001 to 2016
- English, French
I've played oud from 2001 to 2016, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
I teach about 15 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I fix old bicycles.
More about Maricel
I wrote my first song when I was 17. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Maricel: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
