Mariana Lúcia Melo

Teacher at Beacon Primary School, loves computer science

I taught computer science at Beacon Primary School in Campinas from 1982 to 2003. Most days I taught primary school children, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk. I ran the running club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.

What gifts mean to Mariana: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
