Mariana J. Fernández
Master of pottery, now teaching apprentices
- 🇺🇸 Tallahassee, Florida, United States
- Parkside Repairs
- 1979 to 1991
- English
I've worked in pottery from 1979 to 1991. I learned from my grandmother and passed what I could on to 260 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I carry a notebook everywhere.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
What gifts mean to Mariana: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
