English literature teacher at Belém Academy, Since 1992

I teach English literature at Belém Academy in Belém since 1992. Most days I teach Year 9, and I never raise my voice. My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.

More about Mariana

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mariana: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
