Mariana A. Sandoval
Teacher at Oakland Middle School, loves agriculture
- 🇺🇸 Oakland, California, United States
- Oakland Middle School
- Since 1988
- English, Spanish
I came to teaching late, after working as a shop assistant, and 38 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've run the robotics club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I garden badly but happily.
More about Mariana
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mariana: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
