Maria Walters
Professor of linguistics, Unity Institute of Technology
- 🇬🇧 Newcastle upon Tyne, England, United Kingdom
- 1978 to 2015
- English
My subject is linguistics, and for 37 years I got to share it with undergraduates at Unity Institute of Technology.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
More about Maria
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
