María W. Mora
Self-taught ceramics artist
- 🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States
- Since 1987
- English, Spanish
I work mostly in ceramics, sometimes printmaking. My first show was in 1987 at Little Central Studio, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at Little Central Studio, which keeps me honest.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about María
If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.

What gifts mean to María: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
