I've worked in masonry since 1999. I learned from my mother and passed what I could on to 1,300 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I run most mornings.
More about Maria
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Maria: Any gift will help me keep the workshop open for evening lessons.
