Maria T. Walker

33 years teaching economics in Newcastle

  • 🇦🇺 Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia
  • Unity Boys' School
  • Since 1984
  • English
I came to teaching late, after working as a shop assistant, and 42 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. Over the years I've had 1,390 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
