Maria Sokolov

Art and computer science teacher, Saint Petersburg

  • 🇷🇺 Saint Petersburg, Saint Petersburg, Russia
  • Saint Petersburg Middle School
  • 1981 to 1991
  • English, Russian
For ten years I was the art teacher at Saint Petersburg Middle School. I taught the youngest children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.

What gifts mean to Maria: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
