Maria N. Aquino
Master of painting and decorating, now teaching apprentices
- 🇵🇭 Dasmariñas, Cavite, Philippines
- The Bamboo Trades Guild
- 2009 to 2024
- English, Filipino
My trade is painting and decorating. I opened my own shop in 2009 in Dasmariñas and I'm still there most mornings.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 12 years later for another job.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Maria: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
