Maria Larissa Alves

Basketball and fitness coach, Niterói

  • 🇧🇷 Niterói, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
  • Mount Pleasant Boxing Gym
  • Since 2001
  • Portuguese, English
For 25 years I've run the basketball program at Mount Pleasant Boxing Gym in Niterói. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
