20 years teaching mathematics in Los Angeles
- 🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States
- Los Angeles Academy
- Since 2012

I teach mathematics at Los Angeles Academy in Los Angeles since 2012. Most days I teach mixed-ability classes, and I play music while people worked.
Over the years I've had 460 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm still learning every day.
More about María
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to María: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
