I taught religious studies at St. Petersburg Secondary School in St. Petersburg from 1985 to 2004. Most days I taught the final-year class, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
Outside the classroom I bake for the whole street at New Year. Inside it, I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
