Maria Juliana Almeida

Oud player and teacher in São Paulo

  • 🇧🇷 São Paulo, São Paulo, Brazil
  • 1985 to 2007
  • Portuguese
I play oud and singing. I started in 1985 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness. I teach about 20 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I fix old bicycles.

What gifts mean to Maria: I'd put a gift toward recording a small album.
