María J. Martínez
Youth hockey coach and mentor
- 🇨🇴 Medellín, Antioquia, Colombia
- Parkside Boxing Gym
- Since 2004
- English, Spanish, French
I've coached hockey at Parkside Boxing Gym since 2004. Most of my players were between 11 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
More about María
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to María: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
