María G. García
Youth basketball coach and mentor
- 🇺🇸 Tampa, Florida, United States
- Since 2010
- English
For 16 years I've run the basketball program at Holy Cross Sports Club in Tampa. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
More about María
If you played for me, you probably remember that terrible school play.

What gifts mean to María: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
