I teach early years at Redwood Technical College in Ottawa since 1982. Most days I teach Grade 8, and I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
I've run the choir after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Maria
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Maria: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
