María F. Ríos
Boxing and fitness coach, Guadalajara
- 🇲🇽 Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico
- Guadalajara Youth Club
- 2006 to 2024
- English, Spanish
I coached boxing at Guadalajara Youth Club from 2006 to 2024. Most of my players were between 11 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
