Maria Elaine Pereira

37 years teaching religious studies in Salvador

  • 🇧🇷 Salvador, Bahia, Brazil
  • Harbor Primary School
  • Since 2016
  • Portuguese
I teach religious studies and geography at Harbor Primary School, Salvador. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk. Over the years I've had 500 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

What gifts mean to Maria: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
