For 14 years I've run the netball program at Bilbao Youth Club in Bilbao. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about María
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

I still think about the surprise birthday cake. Best summer of my life. Truly.
